Online MSHA Training Reporting: A Step-By-Step Guide

You’ve signed up for online MSHA training with MSC. Great choice. Now your employees have started their MSHA training but you want to know how far they’ve gotten in case someone needs a bit of “encouragement”. But how do you do that?

Below are the step-by-step instructions that will guide you through the whole process.

Online MSHA Training Reporting- A Step-By-Step Guide

First, go to the MSC training portal and log in to your manager profile. Your case-sensitive username and password should have been sent in your sign up email.

To view and print student certificates scroll your mouse over the “Reports” button as shown here:

Click “Student Records
On the next page click “generate report” as seen here:
Screen shot 2017-08-29 at 11.45.33 AMYou will now see every trainee in your workgroup. Here is where you can see how many modules each trainee has completed and how many are still open:

And you can see the date of their last completed course in this column:

You can even see which modules your trainee has completed and what is still incomplete. To do that, click on the username the employee as seen here:

Click on the arrow for the curriculum you want to check on. For instance, if I want to see which modules this user has completed in their Annual Refresher training, I will click on that arrow as seen here:

The course curriculum will drop down to show each individual course module. In this view, you can see each module’s status:
Course/module name:
module or course name
And each modules start and end date:
start and end date
 You can even print the report for your records:
print report
